A Plant Medicine Ceremony; heal and become aware

A Plant Medicine Ceremony
Open your heart. Heal your pain body.

Plant medicine rituals help us shift our focus from the outside world to our inner world. When we drink sacred plant medicines in a safe setting, we close our eyes and open the doors to deeper layers of our consciousness.

These sacred plants can guide us into expanded states of awareness. In these states, we gain deep insight into who we are, what shaped us, and how we can heal. This space is sometimes described as Big Mind and Big Heart. Big Mind brings clarity and understanding insight into our past, present, and the patterns that guide us. Big Heart connects us to love, compassion, and the emotional truth of our being.

In this heightened awareness, we see life from a broader perspective. fFree from judgment or mental filters. We begin to recognize recurring patterns, ancestral influences, and even pain carried from other lifetimes or deep family trauma. It’s a space where emotional healing becomes possible, beyond what we can normally access with the thinking mind.

The Pain Body: Healing from the Root

Plant medicine doesn’t just lift us into higher awareness. It also takes us deep into our subconscious. This is where much of our unresolved pain lives, what spiritual teacher Eckhart Tolle calls the pain body. Others might know it as the shadow: a hidden layer of suppressed trauma, unprocessed emotions, and limiting beliefs.

We often avoid this pain in daily life by distracting ourselves, staying busy, overthinking, or numbing out. But under the guidance of sacred plants, this emotional baggage rises to the surface. It may not be easy, but it’s necessary. This is where true transformation begins. By facing what we’ve buried and finally releasing it.

Old emotional wounds, even ones we can’t consciously remember. Like childhood trauma, emotional neglect, or even ancestral pain, can emerge to be felt and healed. This process may bring resistance or inner conflict, especially when the ego wants to suppress what the soul is trying to release. But with surrender, the body and psyche can start to unburden themselves.

Trauma, Memory & the Body

Not all trauma is remembered. Our body stores memories—even from before we were born. Sacred plant medicine ceremonies often bring people into contact with their body memory. Some recall the womb as a peaceful, safe space. Others feel the anxiety, fear, or rejection their mother carried during pregnancy.

And perhaps the most overlooked trauma of all: birth. Most people have no conscious memory of it, but birth can leave a deep imprint on our nervous system.
A difficult or medicalized birth, like; A C-section, breech, forceps, or umbilical cord around the neck, can show up later in life as anxiety, disconnection, or unexplained emotional distress. During a plant medicine journey, people often relive their birth as part of their healing.

Why attending a Plant Medicine ceremony?

Plant medicine isn’t about escaping reality. It’s about meeting reality—deeply, honestly, and with an open heart. These sacred rituals help us reconnect with the parts of ourselves we’ve forgotten, rejected, or lost along the way. They offer a chance to heal emotional wounds, shift limiting patterns, and remember who we truly are.

Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, unresolved trauma, grief, or a desire for deeper self-awareness; plant medicine can support your journey of healing and personal growth. It’s not a quick fix. It’s a path of courageous inner work.

But for those who are ready, it can be profoundly life-changing.
